A Roman Catholic priest who was kidnapped in western Mexico a week ago has been found shot dead. The body of Jose Alfredo Lopez Guillen was found late on Saturday near the town of Puruandiro in Michoacan state, prosecutors said. He is the third priest to be found murdered in Mexico in the past week. Father Lopez Guillen had been robbed before being abducted from his home last Monday in Janamuato, Michoacan state, Church officials said. The Michoacan prosecutor's office said a post- mortem examination showed the priest had been killed several days before his body was found. On the same day that he disappeared, the bodies of two other priests who had vanished the day before were found by a roadside in Veracruz, on Mexico's east coast. They had also been shot dead. It is not believed their deaths are linked to that of Father Lopez Guillen. His death brings the number of priests murdered in Mexico since 2012 to 15, according to figures from the Catholic Mult

“Be strong and of good courage. Do not be dismayed, God is faithful. He has promised and he will fulfill his promise.” These were the words he shared at an interdenominational service to mark Nigeria’s 56th Independence Day celebrations. The Vice President urged Nigerians to persevere because every Nigerian will benefit from the new Nigeria which God has promised. The Vice President also took a prophetic stance to pray for the country and assured Nigerians that better days were ahead. “The promise of God to our nation is that he is building a new Nigeria; a Nigeria where there will be peace from the northeast to the Niger Delta. A Nigeria where our economy will experience abundance and prosperity,” he said. In his sermon, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Most Reverend Samson Ayokunle, also urged Nigerians to be patient, for with God and optimism, the country will surmount all its challenges. Kim Kardashian will vote for Clinton after all, not Trump

The reality star is firmly with Democrat Hillary Clinton after a flirtation with Republican Donald Trump. "I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary. I'm with her," Kardashian wrote in a post on her website. "I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job." The reality star news comes the same day as the esteemed New York Times endorsement for Clinton as president. Kardashian had already previously tweeted support and a selfie with Clinton. But she said in a recent interview that she was "on the fence" about the election after consulting with Caitlyn Jenner, an outspoken Republican who supports Trump. This statement "caused my phone to blow up by friends, family and even both candidates' camps," Kardashian wrote on the website. She went back to Hillary. "I thought about the things that are so important to me that they outweigh everything else, such as gun contr

Kim Kardashian Disappointingly Consider Voting For Donald Trump

Kim Kardashian has publicly been on Team Hillary since last summer , but it turns out she may not have completely made up her mind about who she plans to vote for on Nov. 8. In June, Kardashian told GQ that she planned on casting her vote for Clinton , but conversations with her stepparent Caitlyn Jenner have apparently caused her to doubt her initial choice. “At first I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m so Hillary [Clinton]’, but I had a long political call with Caitlyn last night about why she’s voting Trump. I’m on the fence,” Kardashian said in a cover story for Wonderland magazine . ( Editor’s note: The quotesk appear via The Evening Standard and are not in the online version of the story, however, The Huffington Post has confirmed their validity.) Jenner has continued her lifetime affiliation with the Republican party , despite being one of the most visible faces in the transgender community. The former Olympian has repeatedly made her opposition to Clinton clear,

Expert: Agricultural export, way out of recession

Mr Offon Udoffia, an export expert, on Friday, stressed the need for increased processing and storage of agricultural products for export as one of Nigeria’s way out of the current recession. Udoffia stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja as he suggested moves that could be taken to pull the economy out of slump. He said that an aggressive promotion of agricultural value chain would not only restore economic buoyancy but create job opportunities. He added that “40 per cent of our harvests are wasted due to the lack of export value chain; we need to process more for export. “We must think of ways of preserving our agricultural products so as to avoid wastage.’’ Udoffia, who is the Chairman of Rivers/Bayelsa Shippers Association (RIBASA), said it was time for Nigeria to look inwards for economic innovations and actions for a virile economy. He noted that the siting of cashew nuts and pawpaw processing companies for exports

A female Tulsa police officer was charged for killing a black Man

A female Tulsa police officer was charged with first-degree manslaughter on Thursday, yesterday in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man. Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler filed the charge against Officer Betty Shelby after viewing dashcam video and helicopter video of the Sept. 16 shooting, according to a statement from his office. The statement said Kunzweiler reviewed 911 calls, witness interviews and other information before making the decision to charge Shelby. The footage shows 40-year-old Terence Crutcher walking away from Shelby with his arms in the air. The video does not show Shelby firing the single shot that killed Crutcher. Shelby’s attorney has said Crutcher was not following police commands and that Shelby opened fire when the man began to reach into his SUV window. Tulsa police say Crutcher did not have a gun on him or in his vehicle.

The blogger is a known critic of the Katsina administration led by Aminu Masari on his blog, Cliqq Magazine. A Magistrate Court in Katsina on Thursday declined jurisdiction to try him. The judge instead asked that he be further detained. Mr. Mabai’s arrest is believed to have been ordered by the governor, a claim the latter’s spokesperson denied. A family friend of Mr. Mabai told PREMIUM TIMES that the governor was not happy with his recent post condemning the recent purchase of 3000 metal coffins for distribution to Mosques in the state. Mr. Mabai said by purchasing the coffins, Mr. Masari is simply saying “Katsina people deserve to die”. He also questioned the rationale behind buying the coffins at N40,000 each a

Boko Haram: We fear more suicide attacks, says villagers

With his finger on the trigger, ready to fire his weapon in an instant, a policeman keeps an eye on people passing in the centre of Maroua, capital of Cameroon’s Far North region that has been a target of Boko Haram Islamists. It’s been more than a year since a string of suicide bombings by the jihadists — from their stronghold in nearby Borno state in northern Nigeria — tore through a bustling central market and a bar last July, killing 33 people and wounding dozens more. Security has been beefed up and there have been fewer attacks, but the people of Maroua still live in constant fear of another surprise explosion in their midst. It was in the popular neighbourhood of “pont vert” (green bridge) that a young girl last July 25 blew herself up — Boko Haram increasingly uses female suicide bombers. In this busy marketplace where vendors sell the local beer “bil-bil”, snacks and medicinal products, no one has forgotten that day. “We fear more suicide attacks,” says

"No Justice, No Peace," shouted the demonstrators as they clashed with heavily- armed police officers in riot gear. There were conflicting reports about how Scott was killed with

In a statement issued by Femi Adeshina who is the special adviser to the president on media and publicly, Buhari said his administration has embarked on significant economic reforms to realize that goal. The programme was organised by the United States Department of Commerce and Bloomberg Philanthropies and attended by political and business leaders from the United States, Africa and other regions of the world. “We intend to make Nigeria one of the most attractive places to do business.” “We are weaning ourselves from a historical dependence on crude oil, diversifying our economy, and putting it on the path of sustainable and inclusive growth. Lionel Messi Will be out for three weeks

Barcelona star Lionel Messi will be sidelined for the next three weeks due to a groin strain, dealing a huge blow to his club and country. “To lose Lionel Messi means football loses and we lose,” said Barca boss Luis Enrique. Messi limped off just before the hour mark of the Spanish champions’ 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday. The Argentine captain is set to miss his country’s World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Paraguay next month as well as Barca’s Champions League clash at Borussia Moenchengladbach. Messi will also sit on the Catalans’ La Liga trips to Sporting Gijon and Celta Vigo. However, Messi should be fit in time for a reunion with old boss Pep Guardiola when Manchester City visit the Camp Nou on Champions League duty on October 19. The five-time World Player of the Year missed Argentina’s World Cup qualifier with Venezuela earlier this month due to the problem and only started Barca’s shock 2-1 defeat to Alaves 10 days ago on the bench as c

‘Buhari Did Not Detain Chibok Girls, Stop Coming To Aso Rock’ – Sen. Ojudu Tells BBOG

Senator Babafemi Ojudu, the Presidential Adviser on Political Matters, has warned the Bring Back Our Girls Group (BBOG) group to steer clear of the presidential villa during its protest. Ojudu, speaking yesterday, said the group was making the protest look like President Buhari look like he detained the Chibok girls. Ojudu stated that: “Since the President came to power, he has met with them thrice. And it is looking like look, you are making this thing appear as if I am the one detaining those girls. I am not detaining them. You are only going to protest to me if I am the one detaining them. “If you allow the BBOG to go into the villa everyday to carry out their campaign, what time would the President have to do his work? “Will that not be calling for disorder? In UK, anyone who has something to say goes to Trafalgar Square. The media will meet you there. They don’t enter into 10, Downing Street. “So, if the BBOG can restrict its campaign to the Unity Square,

signs that will point out that a woman is horny

Some men do not mind letting it show that they are horny if they are around women that they like. This is considered brave when we think of the fact that most women live in constant self-denial as they feel embarrassed to acknowledge the fact that they are horny. They will rather show what they feel through seductive moves and looks. It is quite possible for you to know horny women when you see them. These tips would help you identify the horny women around you: 1. Mode of interaction If you are keen on finding a woman who is horny, then you should take note of the way she interacts with men. Some women could be stern and annoying when they talk to women like them; all you have to do is watch her reaction if a man talks to her and you may be unlocking some secrets. If she pays the man all her attention and flirts actively with him, you can tell she is horny. If the guy follows up properly, he may just end up being a lucky man. 2. If she cannot keep her hand
