The minister of the federal capital territory,
Muhammad Bello on Monday, February 1
conferred an honorary citizenship of Abuja
on the prime minister of Italy.
Matteo Renzi who is on a one-day visit to
Nigeria was received and conferred Abuja
citizenry by Bello at the Presidential Wing of
the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport,
Abuja.
The minister also presented Renzi with a key
to Abuja city describing the city as the
symbol of national unity of Nigeria.
Bello said the key to the city gives the
prime minister all the rights and privileges
enjoyed by other Abuja residents.
