We have doctors in Nigeria capable of handling President Buhari's health challenge' - NMA President Mike Ogrima says


President of the Nigeria Medical Association
NMA, Mike Ogrima, has refuted claims that
Nigerian doctors cannot treat President Buhari's
ear, forcing him to travel to the UK to see an
ENT doctor.
Speaking to journalists in Jos, Plateau state
yesterday June 9th, Ogrima who is a professor
of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at the
Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, said Nigerian
doctors are capable of handling any health
challenge President Buhari is facing.
“We have 250 TNC surgeon doctors all over
Nigeria, capable of handling the health
challenge President Muhammadu Buhari is
being faced with. Maybe the equipment will not
be available for treatment, but we have
qualified TNC surgeon doctors We do not know
the reason for his referral to UK for treatment
because the present administration had made
clear that it was not in support of Nigerians
seeking medical attention outside the
country,”he said.
President Buhari left for the UK on Monday
June 6th to rest and also see an Ear, Nose and
Throat Doctor.

Herbalist kills 13-year-old boy in juju experiment

A 26-year-old herbalist, Ekene Oluka, allegedly killed a 13-year-old, Obumuneme Oluka, while testing his anti-bullet charm on the deceased at Amagu-Uwani, Mgboko, Aku of Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area, Enugu State. It was reported that the herbalist fled after the incident. The herbalist had, at different occasions, successfully tested his charms, which was said to protect against bullets and cutlass, on the young man. Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, in a statement said the command had activated a manhunt for the fleeing herbalist. Amaraizu said: “The herbalist, Ekene Oluka, from the same kindred with the deceased, had allegedly tested his charms for protection against guns on the deceased. Barcelona confirm Lionel Messi’ s injury
