All Nigeria Professional Football League
fixtures earlier fixed for Sunday, June 25
have been Saturday, June 24 because of the
visit of FIFA president, Gianni Infantino.
Infantino, who replaced Sepp Blatter at the
helm of the world football governing body, is
expected in Abuja on a two-day working visit.
Infantino will be accompanied by the
Secretary General of FIFA, Fatma Samba
Diouf Samoura of Senegal.
However, Plateau’s home game against
NPFL champions Enyimba, will still go ahead
on Sunday because the People’s Elephant
played a rescheduled Federation Cup tie in
midweek.
The Flying Eagles’ return leg against Sudan,
has also been moved to Saturday.
