Inter Milan are reportedly interested in
signing want-away Chelsea midfielder John
Obi Mikel.
Mikel enjoyed a solid end to the season with
the Blues last term following the arrival of
interim boss Guus Hiddink in January.
The Dutchman reinstated the Super Eagles
captain in the first-team, making 33
appearances in all competitions.

However, the arrival of new manager
Antonio Conte has cast the Nigeria
international’s future into doubt with Italian
publication Tutto Mercato Web claiming Inter
Milan are prepared to offer the 29-year-old
an escape route.
The report says Inter are hopeful of
completing a deal for the experienced
defensive midfielder for around £5million.
But the Serie A giants could face
competition from Turkish side Besiktas, after
Mikel’s agent Mesrun Izzet revealed earlier
this month he’d shown interest in a move
to the club.
