Ridiculous things Nigerians do with the free WiFi they get

WiFi abuse is rampant most especially in tertiary institutions where free wi-fi is introduced. I think anything free doesn't amount to something better than something obtained through a cost. The three ridiculous things Nigerians do with free WiFi are listed below; 1. Social Media Sign up: Many Nigerians are fund of abusing free stuffs. Instead of someone to use free WiFi to browse important information, he uses it to sign up to different kinds of social media he can remember at that time or search for the lists of social media he can sign up to. 2. Downloading: This group have many categories as some use it for downloading apps, some use it to download games, movies, music etc. 3. Streamlining: Sometimes I do think that free WiFi and even free data is the secret of YouTube traffic because an average Nigerian can never subscribe for data and use it to streamline. But please come to think of this. What if you are the source of the network, what will you use it for and how ...

See what Nigerians refer Buhari to!

Several groups and individuals across Nigeria have called on President Muhammadu Buhari to fulfil his promise of naming those who stole from the country’s treasury. Those who spoke to SUNDAY PUNCH in reaction to the list of recovered funds and assets published by the Federal Government on Saturday insisted that the names of those who returned their loot must be published to make the loot recovery process more transparent. President Buhari had on May 13, 2016, in an interview he granted some journalists before he departed from London where he attended an Anti-Corruption Summit organised by the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, promised to disclose to Nigerians the amount his government had so far recovered from those who looted the nation’s treasury and their names on May 29. The date, being Democracy Day, was when his administration clocked one. Buhari said, “So far, what has come out; what has been recovered in whatever currency from each ministry, dep...

6 things Nigerian wives would always do at home

Being married is a beautiful experience I must say; the euphoria of having to live with a man you love does not go away for a while. For some people, it does not go away at all as every day is a new experience for them. Couples at the initial stage of their marriages are so concerned about living right and doing everything well. They try as much as possible to be of best behavior and avoid things that would make them fight. Overtime, the level of work they put into the relationship or marriage reduces. This is because many of them suddenly get comfortable with their partners and feel there is no need to impress them anymore. They become too relaxed and assume their partners would not go anywhere; most of the promises they made to each other at the beginning of their relationship get broken and they do not pay any attention to it. Women are guilty in this aspect; many of them stop being sassy and classy the moment they get married. They feel they have nothing mor...
